1. Controller and contact
RISEN, the registered operator of the RISEN ecosystem and risenonchain.net, determines how the personal data described here is used. Privacy questions and rights requests may be sent to team@risenonchain.net. We may request proportionate verification before acting on a rights request.

3. Sources
We obtain data from you, your device, your use of RISEN, approved administrators handling support, email and security providers, and public blockchain or market sources when a feature requires them. We do not treat publicly accessible data as permission to use it for unrelated purposes.
4. Purposes and lawful bases
We document and review the applicable basis before introducing materially different processing. We do not rely on marketing consent to deliver security or account-service communications.
5. AI and automated processing
RISEN AI processes prompts to produce requested responses and applies automated safety, quota and abuse controls. Initial AI features do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Account restrictions or reward corrections may use automated signals, but consequential cases should remain reviewable by authorized personnel where appropriate.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside Nigeria or your country. Where required, we assess the transfer and use an applicable safeguard, contractual protection or other lawful transfer mechanism. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.
8. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purpose, security, dispute resolution and legal obligations. Retention is determined by account status, utility requirements, transaction and audit integrity, limitation periods, regulatory duties and whether data can be safely anonymized.
- Pending registration and OTP records expire under short operational limits and are later deleted or minimized under the retention schedule.
- Active account and entitlement data is retained while the account is open and for a justified period afterward.
- Consent, security, release and financial audit evidence may be retained longer where required to demonstrate compliance or resolve disputes.
- AI conversations follow the published conversation-retention setting and may be deleted through available account controls, subject to limited safety and audit records.
- Marketing suppression records may be retained to ensure we continue honoring an opt-out.
9. Security
We use measures appropriate to risk, including password hashing, encrypted sensitive payloads, restricted administrator access, multifactor authentication, least privilege, audit trails, rate limits, environment separation, controlled releases, backups and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure. If you suspect compromise, contact us promptly and change affected credentials. Never send us authentication codes, seed phrases or private keys.
10. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, information about processing, or withdrawal of consent. You have an unconditional choice to stop direct marketing. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already lawfully completed.
Send a request to team@risenonchain.net. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or another competent supervisory authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a legal right.
11. Children
RISEN accounts and digital-asset utilities are intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly create accounts for children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data.
12. Cookies and local storage
We use strictly necessary cookies or browser storage for secure sessions, CSRF protection, preferences and installable application behavior. Authenticated, payment, wallet, entitlement and administrator responses are not stored for offline reuse. Non-essential analytics or advertising technologies will require appropriate notice and choice before activation.
13. Changes
We review this Notice as RISEN develops. A material change receives a new version and appropriate notice. If a change requires renewed acknowledgement or consent, access will be gated until you intentionally record your choice; we do not infer it from silence.
14. Contact
Email team@risenonchain.net with privacy questions or requests. Do not include passwords, OTPs, private keys or seed phrases.
